Biography:
- Since the year 2006, Zangief have been on a mission to play crushing riffs and to rock out at the highest volumes possible, inspired but not defined by the sound pioneered by Iommi/Ward/Butler/Osbourne. Zangief have played heavily across the UK over the past 4 years, having shared a stage with heavyweights such as Boris, Gallhammer, ASVA and Red Sparowes. Never willing to compromise their no-bullshit sound and approach, Zangief continue to play heavy music the only way they know how, with an EP release in the pipeline and shows with the mighty Sourvein, plus an appearance at the Rottingham festival in 2009.
